Who We Are

In circumstances where American imperialism threatens the sovereignty of developing nations across the globe, organizing and mobilizing the global anti-imperialist public is a revolutionary duty. To this end, WAYU was established on 29 October 2014, with the objective of uniting anti-imperialist organizations worldwide against imperialism.

WAYU is a roof organization consisting of national anti-imperialist youth organizations all over the world, and its correspondence language is English. Since its inception, WAYU has organized numerous demonstrations, conferences, and webinars opposing American imperialism. It has actively worked to cultivate an anti-imperialist and anti-colonial consciousness among the youth of developing nations.

Over the years, WAYU has played a unifying role in bringing the global youth together against the imperialist threats of every era. Within this framework, large-scale conferences were held where imperialist threats were discussed and solutions to problems were sought.

Motto and symbol

WAYU was founded under the motto “Peace at Home, Peace in the World!” (Yurtta Barış, Dünyada Barış!). Its symbol is the fist of oppressed nations resisting imperialist aircraft.

Where we stand

Having opposed American imperialism in every context throughout its history, WAYU presently sustains its struggle along the same trajectory and continues to unite the youth of the world toward this cause.
